Welcome
The Tab Ramos Sports Center is owned by a partnership based in the Aberdeen area. We consider you part of that family when you walk in the front door. Others have complimented our warm, welcoming, laid back atmosphere and we are thrilled with that description. We know when you come to the Tab Ramos Sports Center you have come out to PLAY. It’s our job to make that as much fun as possible: Whether that means keeping the snack bar stocked with you favorite items, providing the training to reach the next level in your sport or face painting in our Summer Camp. We’re honored when you choose to spend your leisure time with us.
About Us
The Tab Ramos Sports Center was founded in 2003. The founders / owners sought to accommodate the local interest in all sports in our community and provide a new source of family-friendly entertainment. The Tab Ramos Sports Center is the proud home to many organizations which positively impact our community through sport. We also work diligently to provide all levels of play in the sports we offer, from Learn-to-Play programs to elite training programs and leagues for experienced athletes. The Tab Ramos Sports Center facilities provide Lacrosse, Roller Hockey, Skating, Batting Cages, Soccer, Flag Football, Basketball, Dodgeball, Birthday Parties, as well as group and corporate events, strength and agility training, church & school fundraisers, team building and more.
About Tab Ramos
Tab Ramos is a Soccer icon and three times World Cup Star. He was inducted into the Soccer Hall of Fame in August of 2005, the first player signed by Major League Soccer (MLS) and a MLS All-star for 1996, 1997 and 1999 along with being captain for the NY/NJ Metro Stars. Tab Ramos was a World Cup Player in 1990, 1994, and 1998 and scored at least 1 World Cup qualifying goal in three different decades (only player ever). He has played professionally overseas for Real Betis, and U.E. Figueras, Spain and also for UNAL Tigres (Mexico).
Tab hails from Kearny, New Jersey and attended St. Benedict’s Prep where he was New Jersey all time high school leading scorer (161 goals), Parade high school National Player of the Year and 2 times All-America high school selection. He went on to North Carolina State University and was a 3 time All-America Collegiate selection.
Besides being involved with Tab Ramos Sports Center and doing volunteer work, he coaches locally, runs clinics and camps and is involved with the New Jersey Soccer Academy 04 and his own Tab Ramos Soccer Programs business.
If it can be done on the Turf or the Rink it can be done at the
Tab Ramos Sports Center.
