Youth Roller Hockey Coach Information
This
handout has been prepared to give you an understanding of the philosophies,
practices and policies pertaining to the youth recreation roller hockey
league. The object of this program is to create a wholesome and safe
environment where youth are given the opportunity to learn and practice the
wide variety of basic skills for the sport of roller hockey. We would
also like them to experience the situations which will encourage cooperative
play, good sportsmanship, and continued pursuit of fun in recreation. Our
job is to create a non-competitive atmosphere where the child’s motivation to
learn and participate is emphasized over “winning”.
